Every game, really

Most season simulators roll one number per team. This one plays the season. Each of the 1,230 games is simulated possession by possession with the real 2026-27 rosters, on the NBA's schedule format: four games against division rivals, three or four against the rest of the conference, two against the other conference.

That's why you also get a real stat sheet: points, rebounds and assists leaders, then MVP, Defensive Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Sixth Man and three All-NBA teams from those box scores, and a Finals MVP. Then the play-in decides the 7 and 8 seeds and the playoffs are four rounds of best-of-seven.

Pick one team to follow and the season is told from their seat: record, place, and how their playoffs ended. Open any series to see the games, and watch one in the game simulator.

Title odds from 1,000 seasons

One season is one roll of the dice. Upsets happen. For odds, run 1,000 seasons: a fast model, calibrated on the full engine's results, replays the schedule, play-in and every series a thousand times and counts how often each team makes the playoffs, reaches the Finals and wins it all.

Results are for fun and argument, not betting. Rosters update as real trades and signings happen.

FAQ

Does the NBA season simulator really play every game?

Yes. In Play every game mode all 1,230 regular-season games are simulated possession by possession with the real 2026-27 rosters, using the NBA's 82-game schedule format. Teams play about fourteen back-to-backs, and the second night uses tired legs. Then the play-in tournament and all four playoff rounds are played the same way.

How are the championship odds calculated?

Run 1,000 seasons simulates the season a thousand times with a fast model calibrated on the full game engine, including the play-in and best-of-seven series, and counts how often each team makes the playoffs, reaches the Finals and wins the title.

Can I use it as a playoff simulator?

Yes. After any simulated season you get the full bracket: the play-in games, every series with its result, the champion and the Finals MVP. Open a series to see each game, and watch any of them in the game simulator. Run it again for a different outcome.

Can I follow one team through the season?

Yes. Pick a team, then play the season. The results lead with that club: its record, its place in the conference, how its playoffs ended, and the games that stood out. You can watch any of those games in the game simulator.

Which awards does a season hand out?

MVP, Defensive Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Sixth Man and three All-NBA teams, plus Finals MVP. They come from the simulated box scores: points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks, with team wins weighing on the MVP and the defensive award. A rookie is a player new to the league. Sixth Man started fewer than half his games. Each All-NBA team is two guards, two forwards and a center.

Is it free?

Yes. It is free, runs in your browser and needs no sign-up. It is an independent fan tool and is not affiliated with the NBA, and results are for entertainment, not betting.
