NBA CAREER SIMULATOR

BORN TO BALL

A whole basketball life, one tap at a time

Most NBA career simulators start you at the draft and hand you a stat line every year. Born to Ball starts at eight years old. You pick one of three prospects, each with a hometown, a family and a talent you can only partly see, and every year brings new choices: the travel team or the books, the summer camp you can't really afford, the growth spurt that changes your position, the coach who wants you to stop shooting.

At eighteen you choose a path: a blue-blood college, a starring role at a mid-major, or getting paid overseas. Then comes draft night, in the real 2027 class next to the real top prospects, with the order set by our 3-2-1 lottery simulator. Land on a real roster and every game of every season is played possession by possession with your actual teammates and opponents. Real players age and retire around you, and new draft classes replace them.

Each stretch of the season stops twice for a live game: one from your schedule, and one big night. After three quarters your coach calls a timeout and asks how you want to close, and that call changes the fourth quarter. Win rings, chase MVPs, sign or walk in free agency, earn a nickname and unlock signature skills. When the legs go, retire and find out your legacy grade, whether you're a Hall of Famer, and which real NBA player's season your peak most looked like.

FAQ

What is the NBA Career Simulator?

A free basketball life simulator. You pick one of three 8-year-old prospects, each with a hometown, a family and hidden potential, then make one-tap choices through childhood, AAU and high school, choose a college or a pro path abroad, get drafted and play out a whole NBA career until you retire.

Is it like BitLife for basketball?

Yes. If you like BitLife, this is the hoops version: every year brings new life and training events with three different paths, and the choices you make shape your player's skills, fame, money and legacy.

Do I play with real NBA players?

Yes. You are drafted in the 2027 class alongside the real top prospects and join a real NBA roster. Every regular season and playoff game is simulated possession by possession with your real teammates and opponents, who age, decline and retire around you.

How do games work?

Each season is three stretches of simulated games. Each stretch stops twice for a live game: one from your schedule, and one big night. Playoff games that can end a series are live too. After the third quarter your coach calls a timeout and asks how you want to close: take over, get everyone involved, lock down on defense or run the offense.

Which NBA player will I become?

When you retire, the game compares your peak season with the real per-game lines of current NBA players and tells you whose season yours looked most like, by shape and level, not just points.

Can I choose where a trade sends me?

If you ask out and the front office says yes, you pick from three teams. A ring chase offers the strongest teams. A starting role offers the teams where the fewest players are ahead of you. You can also pull the request and stay. Asking still costs goodwill, and a no keeps you where you are.

Can I keep more than one career?

Yes. The start screen has three slots. A career you already started is still in the first slot. A new one fills an empty slot. Overwriting a career that is still going asks you first. The Hall of Fame list is shared by all three slots.

Is the NBA Career Simulator free?

Yes. It is free, runs in your browser on phone or desktop, needs no download or sign-up, and saves your career automatically in your browser. It is not affiliated with the NBA.
